Terms of use

  1. About. Gambure is a free app for keeping score of games among friends, run by Maximilian Schnabl, Graz, Austria (see the legal notice). By creating an account you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
  2. Who can use it. You must be at least 14. One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure.
  3. Your content. Your username, display name, group names, game names and rules, guest names and the results you record are your content. You give us the right to store it and show it to the other users as the app describes, as long as it is needed to run Gambure. You may only post content you have the right to post.
  4. Not allowed. Content or behaviour that is illegal, hateful or discriminatory, harassing or threatening, sexual, violent, or that impersonates someone. This covers usernames, display names, group names, guest names and custom games too. Also not allowed: spam, recording matches for people without their knowledge, automated access, attacking the service or getting around a block.
  5. Reporting and moderation. Report a user or content in the app (profile → Report) or by email to contact@gambure.app. We review reports and may remove content, rename a username, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. We tell you why, unless the law forbids it. You can respond by email.
  6. Blocking. You can block any user. A blocked user cannot send you friend requests or group invites.
  7. Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Delete account) or as described on Delete your account. Match results stay for the other players as “Deleted player” (see the privacy policy).
  8. The service. Gambure is free and provided as it is. We may change features, or end the service with reasonable notice. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.
  9. Changes to these terms. We tell you in the app about significant changes before they take effect.
  10. Law. Austrian law applies, without its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, the mandatory law of your country of residence still protects you.
